Meeting started at 7:35 PM at Clubhouse Boardroom. Present: Betty Licitra, Bill Goetz, George Field, Warren Miller and Ed Plummer.
Betty Licitra, Warren Miller and Ed Plummer met with Bob Elks and Steve Harrison for about two hours at SCS boardroom. They listened to our list of complaints about poor communication and less than adequate responses to various e-mails. SCS asked for two names of unit owners who could be contacted when a repair or maintenance service representative is scheduled to come to the condo. After the meeting Warren Miller was given some more utility bills. He is trying to see how the utilities compare with usage in both condos. The should be about the same but in the past have noticed large discrepancies.
Bill Goetz and George Field have taken on the job getting the water irrigation meters. There needs to be better coordination between the plumber and the Prince William Authority.
After several weeks, Lennar has done some roof repair on both condos. Will get Summit to reinspect the roof to see what has been done and if it passes inspection this time.
Reported a significant savings on the condo insurance for 2008 with Nationwide. Note an increase in the deductible to $5000.
The idea of doing some trial runs before replacing all of the gutters was presented for consideration. Will putting diverters help? Will replacing 2 inch openings with enlarged openings help? We will need more time to check into this matter.
The meeting was closed at 9:00 PM.
