BUDGET & FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES OF JANUARY 5, 2007, MEETING

Meeting took place in unit B210 at 2:00PM.

Present: Betty Licitra, Judy Wright, Warren Miller, treasurer

Also presnt: Bill Massarella, Mr & Mrs Hancq, and Mr & Mrs Charles Covarrubias.

Minutes of Dec 1, 2006 were read and approved.

The financials for Nov were reviewed. Monthly financials will be available for unit owners examination in the lobby of each building.

Several budget items are under consideration:

Keeping in mind tha the Prince William County law says recycling is mandatory, thee are several possibilities. More information and costs are needed. Under consideration: several bins or possibly enlarging the trash room itself.

 

A parking space in 13891 near the entrance to the garage is exposed to the elements more so than any other. Will get estimates for louvered panels. Lennar has been contacted about providing adequate barriers but will not do so.

 

The lock boxes attached to the handrails at the entrance to the buildings can make it difficult to use the handrails properly. A suggestion would be to put the lock boxes at the south end of the buildings at the fire door exit.

 

Several light fixtures in the lobby need to be replaced.

 

Ed Plummer has submitted a proposal for a website for Condo use only. The price is right and the board should consider it.
